Therapy for Dads

Life can feel heavy when stress, anxiety, or painful emotions start to take over. My approach to therapy is present-focused and collaborative, including aspects such as parenting support for those navigating family dynamics. Instead of trying to 'get rid of' your struggles, I help you make sense of them and find new ways to respond, so you can live with more clarity and purpose. Together, we’ll notice the patterns that keep you stuck and practice tools that allow you to move toward what matters most in your life.

Therapy with me is not about perfection or quick fixes. It’s about learning to meet yourself with compassion, building resilience, and taking steps toward the life and relationships, you want. In our work, I’ll offer support, accountability, perspective, and practical strategies you can use in everyday life.

I provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches that are proven to help with the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, and difficulties in relationships. Whether you are struggling with overwhelming emotions, feeling stuck in negative thought patterns, or facing challenges in how you relate to others, therapy can give you the tools to understand what is happening and create meaningful shifts in your life.

Challenges I help with include:

- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma recovery

- Depression and low mood

- Anxiety, worry, and panic

- Stress management and burnout

- Grief and loss

- Relationship and interpersonal challenges

- Low self-esteem and self-worth

- Life transitions and identity concerns

Additionally, I offer psychological evaluations to better understand your unique needs. My work draws on methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), tailoring treatment to your specific needs and goals. This flexible and compassionate approach allows us to address both immediate concerns and the deeper patterns that may be holding you back.

If you are looking for therapy that is collaborative, practical, and deeply supportive, individual therapy with me can help you gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and create the changes you want in your life.
